About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Millwright to join our maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliable operation of production equipment, machinery, and technical installations by performing both mechanical and electrical maintenance activities. You will diagnose and resolve faults, carry out preventive maintenance, and support continuous improvements to maximize equipment uptime and production efficiency. This position is ideal for a technically versatile professional who enjoys hands-on problem-solving and working in a dynamic industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Mechanical & Electrical Maintenance: Perform maintenance, repairs, and inspections on machinery, production equipment, technical installations, and support systems.
- Fault Finding & Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and basic automation-related faults to minimize downtime and maintain production continuity.
- Preventive Maintenance: Execute scheduled preventive maintenance activities to improve equipment reliability and prevent unexpected failures.
- PLC & Drive Systems Support: Assist with troubleshooting and adjustments on PLC-controlled equipment, frequency drives, sensors, and automated systems.
- Equipment Optimization: Identify opportunities for technical improvements and support initiatives to increase machine performance, efficiency, and reliability.
- Safety & Compliance: Ensure all maintenance activities are completed in accordance with company safety procedures and industry standards.
- Documentation & Reporting: Record maintenance activities, repairs, inspections, and spare parts usage while communicating technical issues effectively with supervisors and production teams.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with production, engineering, and maintenance colleagues to ensure optimal equipment performance and operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Technical qualification in Electromechanics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or equivalent practical experience.
- Previous experience in a maintenance, technical, or industrial engineering role is required.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical maintenance principles.
- Experience with PLC systems and frequency drives.
- Ability to efficiently diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions.
- Good understanding of industrial production machinery and technical installations.
- Valid driver's license (depending on company requirements and site locations).
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive technical mindset.
- Eagerness to learn, develop new skills, and grow within a technical environment.
- Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team-oriented culture.
