About the Role
A leading manufacturer in the insulation and advanced materials sector is seeking a dedicated Process operator to join its chemical production team. The role involves operating and monitoring a semiautomated chemical process used to produce polyol, an essential raw material in the company’s product range. You will work within a modern production environment and collaborate closely with quality, logistics, and technical support teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and supervise a semiautomatic chemical reactor process.
- Conduct quality checks and basic laboratory analyses on intermediate and final products.
- Adjust process parameters based on trends, readings, and quality outcomes.
- Safely manage the unloading of tank trucks and handling of raw materials.
- Follow production planning and complete batch documentation accurately.
- Identify process deviations and take corrective action to maintain stability.
- Support maintenance teams during technical interventions.
- Maintain a clean, safe working environment and comply with all safety procedures.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the production department.
Requirements
- Chemical qualification: Graduate Chemie, Bachelor Chemie, or equivalent.
- Experience in chemical production, reactor operation, or process industry is advantageous.
- Willingness to work in a 3-shift system.
- Strong attention to detail and sense of responsibility.
- Basic computer literacy (process screens, reporting tools).
- Safety-focused mindset and adherence to strict procedures.
- Team player with good communication skills.
